Rotary Actuator

The RACO Rotary Actuator is designed to automate the operation of valves, gates, dampers, louvers and other rotary position applications requiring partial or multi-turn rotational movement. 

The RACO Rotary Actuator consists of three basic components:  Gearbox, Motor and adjustable limit switches secured in an accessory housing. The helical gear design provides a high level of efficiency with low noise admission. The gearbox is maintenance free and permanently lubricated with synthetic oil. The output interface is available as hollow or solid shaft and is equipped with a standard flange. The IP65 rated RACO Motor is an asynchronous three phase AC induction motor with a low inertia for intermitted duty. The motor has a B side interface to except a brake with or without a hand release mechanism and a hand wheel or auxiliary equipment such as limit switches or electronic position sensors. If the B side of the motor is used with a hand wheel the auxiliary equipment will be mounted on the B side of the helical gearbox. As a standard the motor is equipped with internal thermal switches for motor winding protection.
