Mini Cubic Screw Jacks

550lbs Lifting Capacity

The Mini Cubic Screw Jack is the definition of small but mighty. It measures 50 x 60 x 50 mm and supports loads up to 550lbs.

It is commonly used for conveyor belt adjustment, platform positioning, and other compact lifting applications, with either manual operation or input from an external motor. The housing is machined from aluminum and anodized, with stainless steel and high-grade steel fittings used throughout the assembly.

Mini Cubic Screw Jack Configuration Options

The Mini Cubic is supplied with a trapezoidal lead screw as standard and can be configured as a translating, keyed translating, or rotating model.

Available specifications include:

  • Travel rate (the linear distance traveled per rotation of the input worm shaft)
  • Steel grade used for the lead screw and worm shaft
  • Stroke length

Modular System Integration

The Mini Cubic can be used as a single screw jack or incorporated into a multi-point lifting system. Multiple screw jacks can be connected through drive shafts and bevel gearboxes so one drive source can transmit motion across the system. This allows several lifting points to operate together within the same mechanical arrangement.

Cubic Screw Jacks

1000–11000lbs Lifting Capacity

Cubic Screw Jacks are available in load capacities from 1000–11000lbs and can operate at input speeds up to 1,800 rpm. They are commonly used to raise or lower platforms, adjust conveyor height, and position machine components, with either manual input or power from an external motor.

Each unit uses an anodized aluminum housing with stainless and high-grade steel fittings for industrial lifting and positioning applications.

Cubic Screw Jack Configuration Options

Cubic Screw Jacks use a trapezoidal lead screw and are available in translating, keyed translating, or rotating configurations.

You can specify the:

  • Load rating
  • Required stroke length
  • Travel rate (the linear distance moved per revolution of the input worm shaft)

The standard 080M40 steel lead screw can also be replaced with a stainless steel lead screw for applications that require greater corrosion resistance. In addition, clevis ends, flange attachments, and mounting plates can provide additional interface options.

Modular System Integration

For synchronized lifting, multiple Cubic Screw Jacks can be mechanically linked through drive shafts, couplings, and bevel gearboxes. This allows one drive source to distribute rotary motion across several lifting points.

The number and arrangement of industrial screw jacks can be configured around the geometry and load requirements of your equipment.

Cubic Actuator Screw Jacks

1000–11000lbs Lifting Capacity

Cubic Actuator Screw Jacks are sealed lifting assemblies designed for short-stroke applications where water, dust, or process debris must be kept away from the internal drive components. A wiper seal around the lifting screw helps prevent moisture and contaminants from entering the jack while retaining internal lubrication.

Best for food processing, pharmaceutical equipment, washdown environments, and specialized production machinery.

Cubic Actuator Screw Jack Configuration Options

Cubic Actuator Screw Jacks are available in translating and keyed translating screw configurations. You can specify travel rates from 0.25 mm to 2 mm per revolution and stroke lengths from 50 mm to 100 mm, depending on the movement required by your equipment.

Material selections can also be matched to the operating environment to improve resistance to water and debris ingress around the internal gearing and screw mechanism.

Modular System Building

You can connect multiple Cubic Actuator Screw Jacks to create a mechanically synchronized lifting or positioning system. Custom drive shafts and couplings transfer rotary motion between the jacks, while bevel gearboxes allow the drive path to change direction within the machine layout. This makes it possible to operate several lifting points from a common drive source.

Cubic Ball Screw Jacks

1000–11000lbs Lifting Capacity

Cubic Ball Screw Jacks are built for applications that require higher travel speeds, frequent cycling, and repeatable positioning. Instead of the trapezoidal lead screw, these units use either a rolled or ground ball screw to reduce sliding friction and increase mechanical efficiency. These are available with a broader range of screw leads for jacks with increased linear travel speed. The nominal capacity of each jack is dependent on the specified ball screw.

Ball screws themselves are inherently not self-locking, however these jacks can be specified with a high-ratio gearset to remove the tendency to back drive under load. Applications where the load must remain fixed when drive power is removed may therefore require a brake or other holding mechanism.

Cubic Ball Screw Jack Configuration Options

Cubic Ball Screw Jacks are available in translating screw and rotating screw configurations. Both configurations can be mounted from the top or bottom face.

  • Translating design — the ball screw moves linearly through the jack
  • Rotating design — the screw rotates while a traveling nut produces linear movement

You can specify the travel rate and stroke to match your machine requirements. The standard lifting screw is manufactured from hardened steel.

Modular System Building

Cubic Ball Screw Jacks can operate independently or as part of a synchronized multi-point system. Multiple jacks can be mechanically connected using drive shafts, couplings, and bevel gearboxes, allowing a single motor or other rotary input to drive several lifting points.

For multi-jack systems, the total load should be distributed across the lifting points, and the drive system should be sized for the required load, travel speed, and cycle. Screw support and mounting conditions also need to account for buckling under compression and critical-speed limits on longer, faster-running screws.

J Range Screw Jacks

10,000–200,000lbs Nominal Lifting Capacity

The J Range is built for heavier industrial lifting and positioning applications, with standard nominal capacities from 10,000–100,000lbs and custom designs available for loads beyond that range.

Unlike the Cubic family, these industrial screw jacks utilize a machined cast iron jack body which can be painted to your specification. They can be adapted for application-specific travel speed, stroke, mounting, and load requirements. They can also be engineered into synchronized multi-jack systems.

Fully Customizable

J Range Screw Jacks use a precision worm gear drive with a steel lifting screw and can be configured for either translating or rotating motion. Both configurations are available in upright or inverted orientations to match the available installation space and direction of travel.

Depending on the speed, efficiency, precision, and duty requirements of the application, the jack can also be engineered around either a ball screw or even roller screw arrangement.

Synchronized J Range Systems

Although the J Range is not part of the standard modular Cubic platform, multiple J Range Screw Jacks can still be engineered to operate as a synchronized system. Drive components can be arranged to coordinate multiple lifting points when a platform, fixture, machine section, or other large load must remain level as it moves.
